23 year-old Shi Zhiyong (69kg, @hookgripchn 🇨🇳) clean and jerking 198kg/436.5lb at the 2017 Chinese National Games to post a 358kg total and tie the World/Chinese record in the C&J. He also took down the king of the 69kg class, Liao Hui. This was Liao's first ever loss in an important competition in his career as he was the 2009/2013 CNG champion (the only really important national event for a lifter of his stature) and he only ever lost in int'l competition at a smaller event when he was lifting in the 77s due to the lack of importance of the event.
